It is now almost 55 years since I last time felt the need to publish my political opinion on a national issue:
(excuse for doing it in Swedish)-:

My personal code of conduct.
Based on my life experience, I am now following three basic rules:
1. Nothing is for sure!
Why so? In line with all experience. In Carl Popper's words:
There are just two cathegories of statements (with slightest content of generality) about the real world:
a) Those that have been falsified.
b) Those that have not yet been falsified.
2. Always, be prepared to publicly explain, motivate and defend your actions
If you are considering or about to do anything you are not prepared to publicly
explain, motivate and defend, DON'T DO IT!
3. When you have alternatives, use the available time and effort to find the best possible option.
Don't waste any of your time or energy on complaining over options no longer available!
Make it a habit, when discarding an option, to ensure there is at least one acceptable option left (banker's algorithm).
